My name is Sebastian Truman Elmaloglou.
Ever since I can remember it has been a huge passion of mine to freeze time and capture a moment. Nature has been an inspiration to me, as well as the science and magic behind light. It is hard to think of a time in my life where I didn't document life around me. It has always evoked within me a desire to explore, appreciate and share both the grand and micro prespetives of life.
I moved from a camcorder to experimenting with my phone camera in my early twenties. A lot of inspiration was found from Instagram in it's early days and I sought to improve my skills. It then quickly shifted from being just a hobby to a passion. Now, with much more equipment than just my phone I have discovered different techniques that have challenged me to master the various landscapes from underwater, macro and aerial (drone) photography.
There are no degrees in terms of qualifications under my name, everything I have learnt has been through experimentation, watching masters at their craft and grit. Fortunately, I have been able to work with a few organizations that have appreciated my work such as Speedo, Corporate Fight Night and Channel 7 to name a few. I hope to eventually to be published by National Geographic that is the dream!
